Who runs Solar Panels for Gardens, what happens to your enquiry, and where our figures come from.
Who we are
solarpanelsforgardens.co.uk is an independent information and enquiry service about solar in the garden: ground arrays, pergolas and canopies, garden rooms and garden power. It is operated by SEO Dons Ltd (Company No. 16766013). We are not an installer, not a council and not a government scheme, and we do not arrange surveys or visits.
What happens when you send an enquiry
Your enquiry comes to us and we reply by email. We use your postcode to check planning and yield for your area, and your phone number only if you ask us to call. How we handle your details is set out in our privacy policy.
Where our figures come from
Planning rules are read from the legislation itself on legislation.gov.uk; costs from the government's solar PV cost data and named sources; yields from the European Commission's PVGIS tool; tax and tariff rules from gov.uk and Ofgem. Where a figure has an end date, such as zero-rated VAT on installed solar until 31 March 2027, we say so, and pages carry the date their figures were checked. Ranges marked "around" or "typically" are indicative.
