What we collect

If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, and the description of your garden and plans that you choose to send — occasionally including photos if you attach them by email. We use this information for one purpose: answering your enquiry with relevant guidance. The lawful basis is legitimate interest in responding to a request you made. We run no marketing lists from this site and never sell or share enquiry data.

Form submissions pass through Formspree Inc., our form-processing provider, which stores submissions on our behalf as a data processor under its own security and privacy terms.

What we don't do

No advertising trackers, no marketing cookies, no profiling, no automated decisions. Our host (Netlify) keeps standard short-retention server logs — IP address, browser identification, pages requested — for security and capacity purposes, as virtually every website's infrastructure does.

Retention

We keep enquiry correspondence for up to 24 months so that follow-up questions have context, then delete it. Ask at any time and we will delete yours sooner.

Your rights

You may request access to the data we hold about you, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to processing, and receive a portable copy. Email info@solarpanelsforgardens.co.uk and we will respond within one calendar month. If we ever disappoint you on any of this, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) is the UK supervisory authority.
